This short film follows 18 University of Arkansas honors students who set off on the medieval Camino de Santiago pilgrimage path, presenting their research at spectacular castles and cathedrals along the way. From Paris to the End of the Earth, the students experience meditative cloisters, trek through a Pyrenean thunderstorm, explore Cathar strongholds and tackle hefty plates of Spanish pulpo … and we have footage of it all. These students got a two-week crash course in medieval architecture, history and music, and learned a thing or two about themselves as well. Join us on the journey!

Buen Camino has been recognized with four Telly Awards: the film was one of two in the nation to win gold in the educational institution category, and also picked up silver Tellys in Voiceover, Videography/Cinematography and Writing categories.
